RUN THE 2024 NYRR TCS NYC MARATHON IN SUPPORT OF OUR RUN4FUN YOUTH PROGRAMS
Run4Fun runners receive guaranteed entry into the renowned 2024 NYRR TCS NYC Marathon while contributing to the organization's mission of supporting youth programs in New York City. Run4Fun empowers the mental health and wellness of young people for life through the healing power of running and play. Run4Fun Charity runners raise a minimum of $3750 in support of our free programs.
At the heart of Run4Fun's efforts are two of our outstanding programs in NYC:
New Destiny Housing: Serving as a sanctuary for the most vulnerable members of New York City's unhoused population, New Destiny Housing provides safe and stable housing, along with essential services, to victims of domestic violence and their children. Our Run4Fun program runs in Brooklyn, NY.
A Place for Kids: PS 2, located in Chinatown, is our first ever Run4Fun Manhattan location! Through our connection with Leland Yu and his Run for Chinatown campaign to respond to the Covid-19 pandemic's negative effects on the community, we launched our first sessions in the summer of 2021 with A Place for Kids, an after-school program founded by Leland's mother, Minerva Chin.
