Run4Fun Sunday 10 Week Distance Program- Session time: 11am-12:15pm. 9/15-11/17. Meet in the park through the Garfield entrance. Pick up is in the same spot. Run4Fun youth runners will work on running technique and work on their endurance. They will work toward individual goals and participate in races throughout the year.
Run4Fun's sessions combine the Run4Fun life skills curriculum and running technique in an environment of fun. Each session's structure: Introduce theme of the week, dynamic warm-ups, warm up run, distance runs, running games, and a cool down. The concept of pacing ourselves and personal best is introduced and participants will set individual goals. Run4Fun runners will also have the opportunity to participate in races.
