Run4Fun's Track program is an exciting and fun way for youth to learn the elements of running track. Run4Fun youth will receive individualized training in preparation for outdoor track season and build a positive team spirit. We will utilize the lower loop of Prospect Park where there are markings for the 400 meters and 800 meters. Hills will also be utilized for hill repeats and training.

Each session's structure: Introduce theme of the week, dynamic warm-ups, running drills, warm up, track workouts and a cool down as well as strength training. The concept of personal best is introduced and participants will set individual goals.  Run4Fun runners will have the opportunity to participate in track races and running events.
